A legit company is linked to the full number I.e (0)122 etc but it's displaying at +44. Phone No. 01329239173 phoned today and claimed to be my bank security, without stating who I bank with, they said that I'd authorised Payments of £300 to Amazon and £1200 from a site I don't normally use. This was obviously a scam to get my Bank Details, I've checked with my bank and no such payments have been authorised, ,thank god. This comes after I've been hit on one of my cards for a payment I hadn't authorised with Fancy2go.com, another con artist.

Amazon scammer. Told me someone hacked my Amazon account and ordered a £754 iPhone. Sent me a code in a text and asked for this code. No order showed on my Amazon account nor got a confirmation email. He got impatient with me when I said that I don't trust him and asked how I can know if he's not trying to scam me. He hung up.

SCAM it is time the government did something about these types of phonecalls. It is time to put a stop to the harassment and potential danger caused by them.
I think it is a sub-contracted call centre (why it might sound disingenuous?) of sales people for Sky broadband or agents on commission from Sky. They did indeed do a realtime broadband speed check on what they could offer compared to Virgin, which shut them down. It was easy then to end the call. Call center

This number was on an email purportedly from. Ebay...saying call if you think the information was incorrect. The info was wildly incorrect. Assuming this is some form of phishing phone scam as phone number does not appear on eBay website or registered to them publicly.

Nasty a nd dangerous political organisation that should NOT be ringing people withouth clear permission to do so - as per GDPR obligations.
Someone called my landline on this number about 0815 this morning and it woke me up! No message left. It is a similar number to a couple of calls I have received this week. The previous callers claimed to be from BT, saying there was a problem with my broadband connection - which there isn’t and I told them so. It is likely a scam to get you to give information so they can hack into your system.
