I get several calls a week from this company which I ignore. As it seems they have first names they must be getting this information from phone companies selling lists on. Only my friends, family and phone company know my number AND name.
Automated message (with an American Accent). Claimed to be HMRC and requesting immediate action from me or my solicitor to call the same number back. I’ve emailed HMRC to see if the number is legit, but I expect it to be a premium rate scam.

Been getting calls from this number. Have now tried the 0203 365 9055 to get taken off the list. Lets see if it works. NB. I also donate to the RSPCA by standing order if the calls dont stop I am going to cancel it and then some poor little doggies will have to go hungry. My sanity comes first.

15:29 19/7/16. Did not appear to know my name, address or location, as did not refer to any - so just cold call to landline. Claimed to be from BT security and that there was a problem with my router. I asked who are BT? (jut to wind him up) - the answer he gave was the only truth in his call. He wanted me to check and confirm some details on my router. I told him I did not believe what he said, I was not going to give him any information and that I was going to hang up - which I did.

They just phoned my elderly father-in-law on his land line and luckily my husband had just arrived at the house when they phoned. This number is Santander. They contacted me when I tried to make a large transaction via Western Union and needed to confirm it was me. I was successfully able to make the transaction after the call. Very helpful.

Woman called us (despite being registered with TPS, for what it's worth). She did not identify herself or their company clearly, and fired a barrage of questions at us, despite our refusal to interact with her. She said she could not remove our number from their database as "she hadn't completed her interaction with us, so we'd just receive further calls!". Her tone was extremely aggressive.

This comes up as a Liverpool number .of is a company dealing with PPI. Very polite young man who was straight to the point regarding what the call was for. After asking a few questions, the usual ones about whether I d had any loans, credit cards, catalogues etc, he said he would get the system updated so that they didn t call again. Just about the most polite call I ve ever had regarding PPI!!
