When they ring , they always get me out of bed, when i look at the number on the phone screen its very close to my area number so i answer , then there's a delay while it clicks and connects to a different part of the world and then a foreign sounding lady always mis- says my name with a long eee at the beginning and there is an office noise back ground . Landline number in Birmingham. States it appears to be a Safe Number - But - I'm not sure it is - seems like maybe scammers to me? - When I answer the call they hang up! That's very annoying & frustrating. I added them to my blacklist.

That link looks like a Gov.com site ok but when I do a separate visit to Gov.com it states there that I do not need to apply for this. something fishy about this I think

SCAM had a call from this number by a woman claiming to be from O2. Offering a discount on all 02 contracts. I asked what name she had on the file and told me that she didn't have a name that it was a general call to all 02 customers for this great offer of 50% off the contract. I told that you don't work for 02, if you did you would know my full name and customer account number, with this she groaned and hung up.

Yep, same thing happened to me. One number out of an influx of numbers calling me and hanging up - scamming Paki bastards in scam call-centres routing their calls through unused UK phone numbers to pretend that they're legitimate companies to try and fish for your personal details and use them for fraud. I wish these filthy Paki bastards would just fuck off and die!
