This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. SCAM / SPAM This number will call you and tell you there is an open case against you with HMRC. It will tell you to press 1 to speak to a person, and say if you don't you will be arrested. It's a lie, just hang up :) HMRC would be sending you a letter if this was real.

"Martin" called from an "events company" about an event in my area blah blah offering a meeting with a money grabbing financial consultant. He talked for so long without pausing to let me answer that I thought it must be a recording. Then he got to the question - do I want to have a meeting - and when I said no he asked why.
