When I first answered phone, extremely loud background noise (sounded like a railway station). Indian accented mail asked for Mrs ***. When I asked what it was about he said it was about my internet connection. I started to tell him I had no problems with my internet connection, but he hung up before I finished the sentence! Knew he was rumbled I suspect.

A "UK Consumers Survey" call, they have my name, and he just carried on (as if really hates his own job) try to verify my personal information which I ve then stopped him and he simply hanged up. Time wasters - called re an accident claim which I've never made. Asked them to remove my number from their listings and they hung up.

As with most other comments, single ring then hung up. Did not call back. Weird thing was, this call came in on my company mobile, the number for which is only given out to colleagues and a few family members. I ve never used it to sign up for anything so no idea how they got it. Assume auto dialler?
