Call from 01315169880, when I called the number was told it was Boots Optician and they new my name. Immediately offered to make an appointment for me, I declined. I ve just answered my mobile followed by the landline to this number in quick succession. They immediately hung up both times. When I tried to call them back from my mobile I got an error message telling me I d dialled a wrong number.

"Looks like a premium rate number" Sorry, but you re mistaken. 01, 02, 03 are all classed as national rate calls (apart from Channel Islands, Isle of Man) and 03xxx are business numbers. 0845 and 0870 numbers very widely being changed to 0345 and 0370 numbers so they are included in most calls packages (including from mobiles). Only 1899.com and 18185 (cheap call services when dialling using those prefixes before a number) are not including 03x

Told me I d applied for a loan, I hadn t! Refused to give his details or tell me where he had got my number from. He was very rude demanding I agreed to applying for a loan and that I wanted one! I asked to speak with manager stating I believed fraud was being commited in my name. He said he was the manager and promptly hung up on me. Don t answer calls from this number, not a pleasant experience.

Call made to an elderly neighbour on 09/02/23 from this phone number (via 1471). Caller claimed to be from a Fraud Dept of a local bank. Possible Scam.
This horrible number made unsolicited nuisance calls to my number in Erith, Greater London as there is no way of identifying the company so I can report them to the Information Commissioner.
I think this organisation is trying to get people to sign up to let them pursue PPI claims and the like. They hung up when I asked them for their number so that I could pursue a claim with the TPS. 1471 came in handy.
