This is a hoax .... say they are from currys and PC world... they offer upgrade on your phone, 1 week on no new phone canceled card payment and direct debit, phoned again today soon as they heard my voice they hung up, I've been keeping the line busy for the past 2 hours .... got nothing better to do. I know ut won't do any good but I must be annoying them and stopping them catching anyone else out.

This number called me up to ‘follow up’ after a fraud attempt on my Revolut card. I had actually contacted Revolut as I had another scam call the day before (definitely linked to this one) attempting for me to give a code to add my card to their Apple Pay. Scammers. An indian man called saying he is from Sky broadband and needs to check something about the security of the connection. He asked if I had an android phone where I could download a specific app (TeamViewer QuickSupport or AnyDesk Remote Desktop). If you install these apps they will try to get remote access to your phone and will steal everything they can. Just hang up and report the number.

Think it’s a scammer on FB, has hacked into an account on there and pretending to be a widower living in Bedford. The phone is being used in the Preston area. I have blocked before he tries to extract money from me. He will not send current face photo with today’s date in his hand so I know it is a scammer. The FB profile hacked looks very American not Uk. This is the fourth time this week calls from 01223 reputed to be Cambridge? saying my bank account has been attacked etc when pressed 2 to talk to the operator a female Asian voice answered....I asked are you in Nagapur India, the line went dead? It's obvious they have a way to get into our phone system. Another one they use is Liverpool 01514.

Called today Asian sounding, alledgedly BT regarding internet speed. Only answered because its my local no. suspect a scam but not certain
Received an automated call from this number today on my landline, saying there were 2 suspicious transactions on my card one on Amazon, and the other for a International Money Transfer. Press 1 to accept, or 2 to Talk. Suspect call, as mentioned no customer name or bank name, and usually the landline is not used for any such services. Nevertheless checked with Banks. No such information being processed.
