They called me pretending to be Windows support stating my ID had been compromised. They were very convincing. Got me to share laptop using Anydesk and also got me to run a WIN+r function. After they didnt call back as promised realized i had been scammed.

Insurance SPAM This number and very similar numbers have been calling me daily for a couple of weeks. I have missed the previous calls but answered today. A very well spoken man said he was calling from some company (I didn't catch the name) to do with my Scottish Widows life insurance. When I told him I don't have a policy he asked if I'd cancelled it and I told him I had and that I don't need life insurance. He immediately told me to have a good day and hung up. Received a call on this number from a woman with a thick Indian accent, called Jessica. Claimed she was from EE but when I challenged her as to how she got my number she hung up
Confident English-sounding voice rang, recorded message, saying two amounts of money were to leave my account, expressing concern that they were fraudulent. Told me to dial 1 to find out more. I did not. Sure it is a scam.

SCAM Said calling from my credit card, but no company name given, about unusual transactions this morning. Wanting me to press 1, 2 or 3 to speak to someone. Supposed to have spent £400 on Amazon and £200 on a western union transfer.
Call center Difficult to hear in busy call centre, sounded like she said it was on behalf of Currys PC World. When I asked how I could help her she said 'ok' and then hung up. Very much doubt it was a legitimate call

Bank scam. A recorded message from "bank security" telling you some large amount of money had been transferred from your bank account. You are suggested to press "1" for further information and certainly, have your money stolen when you give your bank details. Beware!!!!!!!

Fraud: Bank scam. Suggests they are from your bank (but they don't tell you which one because they don't know) Informs you by automated call that large transfers have been made out of your account (which is rubbish). They hope you will be daft enough to talk to them so they can obtain your bank details. Why the Police and Telephone companies still allow these fraudsters to operate it beyond me.

A neighbour received the same call, and was taken in, passed on to another person and gave bank card numbers (He has now alerted his bank).
