Came up as international then with an obvious spoof copycat area number. Glasgow isn t international if you are in Scotland. Not a problem- now blocked all international numbers using call blocker. Phone is on do not disturb 24/7 so if you aren t recognised then you don t get through. Heads I win, tails I win.

CHECKING MY BANK STATEMENT I FOUND A DEBIT OF ?99.99 FROM A FREE TIME CD. I RANG THE BANK WHO WERE VERY HELPFUL AND FOUND OUT THAT IT WAS FROM A PURCHASE I HAD MADE ABOUT A MONTH EARLIER. AFTER I PUT THE PHONE DOWN AND GOOGLED THE NUMBER I FOUND THIS WEBSITE. I recently received a call from this number about an annual service booking; the woman at the other end knew my name but wanted me to confirm my address and postcode, which I did. I agreed to a suggested date and time, and she tells me that I will be getting a call on the day to confirm. 01217815070. SCAM. This was a nice sounding girl who was asking about a car accident that was not my fault. I asked who their company was and they didn t respond. When they repeated themselves was with the same tone and internation which showed to me that this was a recorded message. It was obviously someone pressing buttons to get you to answer their questions. When I caught their process (proud I realised this so quickly) and asked them to remove me from their records they hung up on me.
