this number called my mobile this morning..i wasnt going to answer but i did...it turns out to be an insurance company acting on behalf of an injury lawyer scheme..who claimed to have been given an old file with my name on it for a car accident i had 3 yrs ago...i dont drive nor have i had a car accident in the last 3 yrs...the caller promised to remove my details and not call again...

Said his name was James Walker. telling me I have unsecured debt. buckled when I started asking him questions and hung up. asking about my finances and from his accent clearly gave a false name, when I asked what company he was calling from he said it isn t a company it the consumer awareness line, but this does not exist. 23 Nov 2021 - Silence at first, then a click and background call centre noise. An Asian person then said "Hello Maam, it's "Jacks from Carphone Warehouse. How are you today?" I said I wasn't interested and put the phone down, as I haven't had any dealings with Carphone Warehouse. I also suspect this isn't really Carphone Warehouse!Reply
