Cold call about car accident. Claimed I had had an accident and was due compensation. Don t even drive so total scam.

Called my landline at 1447, 1/9 and 1216 2/9. Intercepted by Call Guardian. There is some suggestion that this is a genuine BT number but even so, 2 calls in 2 days to a number that's both ex-directory and TPS registered is a bit naughty. Now blocked.

01332 773892 just called me. Automated message from "HMRC". I chose to connect (dialled 1 as instructed) to give the scum a piece of my mind. Indian/Pakistani accented chap answered and asked what I wanted. I told him to be left the F alone and not get scum scammers calling me breaking the law. Needless to say he hung up. My god these people are SCUM.

Someone called my husband to my phone from that number. When I said I was his wife and asked him to leave a message, the guy told me "doesn t matter" and hung up on me.
Fraud, automated call and then says my National Insurance Number has been compromised. After that you press a number choice and get put through to someone who claims you have just been passed through so can they take your details. I asked her where she got my number from and she said that she hasn't called me but I called her, then got defensive and hung up. Do not get scammed by these idiots!
