Someone called introducing himself as Peter Jones from Finance And Investment Solutions Ltd . they are impersonating a business and personal name by using this landline number to sell a personal loan and trying to get money from people.I checked Finance and Investment solutions Ltd by FCA, and I have been told that Finance And Investment Solutions Ltd is a legitimate company offering only mortgages and its telephone number is totally different from this phone number

Caller ID identified the call was from Bishops Stortford. The caller said he was from O2 offering a 30% discount on my tariff. I told him I was suspicious of this call, he diverted me to another person who repeated the discount spiel. Asked why I'd be getting a discount, he said many complaints to O2 has led them to offer 'selected customers' a discount; I wouldn't have to give him any personal details, he would send me 2 texts. so I told him to sod off and disconnected the call. Asked for a "Mr. Raymond"; when informed he had the wrong number, he requested my name to add to their caller registry. I declined, and he tried to tell me something about investing. I ended the call early by saying I had stuff to do. Overall the guy on the other end was very respectful and polite, and had a very mild Indian accent, so I think he might've been legit. Of note, however, is that my number is a Canadian number.
I'm in the north of England and do not know anybody from Wales so must be a scam call.
