I saw this company?s ?Assisted Bathroom? ad on the tv, went online and requested a brochure. Since then they have called my house phone (which I did not give them!) several times a day, every day. I answered one call today and didn?t give the lady a chance, I told her that I had requested a brochure and not a telephone call and to not bother with the brochure. Currently in the US and just had a call from this number. I didn t answer but found this page so I ll endorse peoples comments about being contacted whilst abroad. I ve recently added my mobile number with the Telephone Preference Service but it can take a month before that kicks in.

This crap company has called about 4 times in past couple of weeks. Lady knew my last name and claimed to be from a reputable building society - Nationwide. However, she persisted in asking my first name so after she kept pushing, I told her Mrs . She read it out loud but then realised it wasn t what she wanted and so pushed further n asked my full name. I told her just my first - no middle names, then she said Thank you Mam and hung up!
