Unknown number. Left it to voicemail and it was a machine giving options between English and Chinese. Only caught the end of the English section so I don't know what it was for other than "press 1 for English, 2 for Chinese"

I've worked in customer service multiple times, one thing I've been told which is common sense is not to spam our customers with calls, maximum I'd call is 2 times for a single customer then stop. Whoever's number this is has been calling everyday for the past few weeks which is 100% a scam. This number called Saturday 4th March early to say they were calling on behalf of amazon they were trying to stop our amazon account being hacked and our credit cards charged. Short story they are scammers trying to release you of your funds. They then continue with mobile phone numbers after this point. Be extremely careful when answering this number.

Scam, pretended to be a job offer
A man with an English accent told me his name, but I don't remember it. I was told that the call was from y local energy consultancy and I was asked if in the past I had used the Government scheme for installing fibreglass in my loft. I said I hadn't used the Government scheme and I did have loft insulation that was installed and then boarded over. I tried to say that I wasn't going to allow the boards to be lifted and he talked over me to say that he wasn't interested and he hung up.

Broad Indian accent, difficult to understand but the general gist I got was he wanted my details so he can save me 30-40% off my bill. Had to press for details on what bill he was saving me money on, he stammered and, almost like he was guessing, said my O2 mobile phone bill. Nobody in this house has any O2 devices so be safe - don't give these scumbags any details. Block the number, maybe work out some of your anger by screaming abuse at them as I did.
