3-4 calls a day, leaves blank voicemail every time. Tried ringing Domestic & General directly, left on hold for 45+ minutes. Reported number to Police & my phone provider for nuisance call/harassment.
This number called me today and said he was calling from Citizens Advice and wanted to help me with some outstanding loans. When i questioned where he was calling from he quickly hung up!!
A pain in the backside , they keep ringing so this time l answer ,they spoke how you doing today l replied what do you want , then they ended the call ,still none the wiser who they are

I haven't found any ratings for this number somewhere else on internet, which should be a good sign... Does someone have some experience with this one? Got Lloyds bank text saying they will SMS about my card then this no texted to ask about a transaction with yes or no. Said no as not done then got replied back to call on a no. Which I checked first then called and was lloyds bank fraud line. Found there was 3 unknown transaction done today which I confirmed and they said they will chase this and cancel and send new card. Always good to precheck. From checking here, it seems to be from some other banks too.
My experience is the same as everyone on this page. This is a scam. how can I stop these scammers apart making note of their number and not answering it if they ring again. They may not use the same number though.

Called claiming to be from virgin media. Asked to press ctrl and r on your computer. This is the start of the process to allow remote access. I'm aware of someone who did this and then had an attempt to have internet banking set up. Someone else had their bank account emptied after doing what they asked. I told them I wasn't prepared to do anything as was aware of scams from people claiming to be calling from virgin media. They hung up straightaway then.
