Missed call and phoned it back about an hour later. Just got an answering machine saying your call cannot be taken at the moment please leave a message BUT NO INDICATION AS TO Who or what

Claimed to be from BT, asked if someone 'was online before midnight or from midnight to 3am. Then said the IP address was being used by malicious software and offered 'next steps' to follow. I hung up. Scam.
