This is UNICEF call and harasses me daily. The calls are to a UK mobile but since I live in France each call costs both me and UNICEF money - far in excess of my original text donation. Opus staff continue to harass me for a balance allegedly owed to NPower. (NPower wrote to me, confirming that their bills using estimated meter readings were inaccurate, & that I owed NOTHING> However, Opus continue to phone me & did so again today. I intend to take legal action against Opus & NPower for the distress that their continued harassment has caused me for more than a year.
Answered and it then somehow turned the call around so that I was calling them! Clever. But annoying.
Currently in the US and just had a call from this number. I didn t answer but found this page so I ll endorse peoples comments about being contacted whilst abroad. I ve recently added my mobile number with the Telephone Preference Service but it can take a month before that kicks in.

Fraud Call claimed to checking on possible fraudulent payments from a bank card (one to Amazon, and one international), and inviting me to press 1 to continue. But as it was left on answering machine this could not be done. No card provider specified and they didn't address me by name. On checking, no such payments have been made from any of my cards.
Been getting calls and messages day, night and bank holidays from two numbers and not sure why. I do not answer, but when they leave a message they do not explain who they actually are, nor what it is about. The other number is 01482 618100, which I assume is related to 01482 483281. Don t fall into their traps...

Asked to speak with my manager, I asked who they were and where they were calling from, advised his name was Sam from British Gas then proceeded to discuss N Power, I asked him to verify the company. After much back and "fourthing"he advised he was from "Duel Fuel" and his name was Jamal. Then he asked what was the company he has called an our number!! Very odd
