Best response I think is to call them out with a few choice words don't give them any personal info or access to your router etc as they will clear you out no doubt

Scammer - phone me claiming to be BT - ‘gentleman with an accent snd call centre in background’ told me he needed to check my broadband - I said I don’t have broadband and he immediately cut off - def avoid this number scammer and liar - next time if he rings I’ll def swear at him !!! Wasting my effin time
SCAM - automated voice says its the national crime investigation and that there are issues with my NI number and to press 1 to speak to an officer or they will suspend my NI number
Called by these numerous times, I just answer and leave the phone on the side and let them talk to theirselves, these rates firms are scams, seems to be popular to set them up in Bolton for some strange reason.
I got done with a Bolton firm a few yrs ago and surprise surprise they Dissapeared, it s probably the same lot with a new name
