Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 1618144xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with PPI claims, financial services, insurance marketing. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...

Rang me 20 times at least in last 2 months. All I do is go through the whole phone call with them when I have time & then tell them won the lottery so not interested in claiming any debts back. But they very persistent so then you tell them how you have just been wast ring there time like they keep doing to others. Or just ask them to hold & they hang up. Give them their character in words of your choosing then put the phone down. 01456 is a UK code but comes up as international on caller display so the origin of the call has been faked

They called me but hung up before they told me who they are. After checking the tellows website, I still decided to ring back to find out who they claim to be. It sounded like an automated response, and probably just the start of a voice mail message, but they said they are: Home Shield Direct I have never heard of this company before; they might be trying to cold call me for a sale. I am not interested; I seek out what I want. This is a harassment call.
