I had a call from this number and was instantly suspicious. I phone Lloyds (PhoneBank) number to be told that this number belongs to the Lloyds Credit Card Collection department (I had missed a payment due to personal circumstances) and they wanted their money. Like most people, I am suspicious of individuals whose language skills are a lot less than mine and have a heavy accent. This number called and asked for me by my first name. When I asked who was calling he hung up. I have blocked this number- definitely dodgy if he won’t say who he is and why he is calling.
SCAM / SPAM - Caller is part of a group targeting the elderly. Male with a strong foreign accent stated his name was 'David' and was calling from the RBS HQ. When challenged where the RBS HQ is located he stuttered and mumbled before hanging up. Please treat this number with caution
