I made the mistake of ordering a kitchen appliance from Boots Kitchen Appliances / AO. Within a day I d received 8 sales calls. Do not give these people your number. Not even for "delivery purposes". They will instead use it to spam you relentlessly until you eventually block them. They even switched to using a "Private" number when they realised they had been blocked. And when I answered one call specifically to tell them to remove my numbers from their call list, they just kept right on talking over m

Called today, asked for me by name (worrying as he said he got my number from price comparison sites, not possible as I always give 999999etc) said he was phoning to overhaul my life insurance .I have been registered with TPS and ex directory for decades.

Called and said we had won a 4 night break. Had not entered any competitions so hung up. You don't get anything for nothing.

Scam! Recorded message claiming to be from HMRC saying they are filing a lawsuit against me. There is no way HMRC would contact anyone in this way.

Called from this number asking about my "Microsoft product" very agressive when I said I could not switch on my machine at this time. Very strong accent, difficult to understand. When I asked where they were calling from she just got cross and told me my laptop wouldn t work if I didn t switch it on now!

Called fishing for bank account details while pretending to be from a tv insurance company. Put the phone down on me when i wouldn't confirm the bank details.

When asked the caller couldn t tell me the address of the company although eventually said it was Erskine House in Clydebank but she didn t know the street etc. I did ask how she found her way to work but the answer was that she walked! Apparently there was "funding available" and when asked who funded it she said "scrappage windows".

They called at 13.58 on Friday 12th June, 2020. A Fllipino sounding young man. Asked me questions about mortgage and life insurance. He was polite, and reassured me that he wasn't selling anything. The survey lasted only about 90 seconds. Probably he will pass my data to some marketing firm and they will then perhaps try to sell me something, which of course I'll refuse. I don't normally speak with cold callers like this, when the start of the call shows they're in a call centre in Cebu or somewhere. He go

They had the cheek to call me again - when I was busy of course - with their wretched recorded message saying it was not too late. I think they can be prosecuted for this harassment and dishonesty, pretending people have claims when they know nothing about whether they have or not, and be heavily fined. This number calls a LOT especially as I have asked twice to be removed from their database. Excel services wanting to service a dyson we do not have. Just had a call today, VERY rude girl. I told her we had already asked to be taken off the database, we don t have a dyson. She said that s why she s got us down as non-dyson. So they can make a note of that bit but not the fact that we re not interested?! I ended up hanging up, she was just so unpleasant.
