Allegedly from Virgin Media calling at 07:45hrs with female call centre voice after delayed pickup. Clearly scam as they put the phone down after we asked (politely) if they knew what time it was in the morning.....

Told him EE have my email address, to email me and then he said only the marketing department will have that...Told him I don't agree to just anyone claiming to be from EE to get money out of me for a contract I can't see. SCAM Received another call from this number today - this time they left a message. Very strong accent and ringing from a call centre so it was difficult to make out. Caller stated they were calling from somewhere which sounded like Yonny (EON something) regarding our energy account. Caller did not specify which type of energy. Caller gave this number as a number to ring back 'as soon as you receive this message'. Ignored and deleted.
BEWARE........ Pretending to be Sky technical, stating fault and slow speed with broadband service, wanted to talk and get access to computer. Tell them to do one save your time and peace of mind.

Phoned today at12.15 pm. Fairly gruff voice. Purportedly from BT. Asked me to confirm that I had been in touch with BT this morning. As I had, I said yes. There was some hesitation and a lot of background noise. I asked what he wanted. He asked if contact was by phone or mail (I think). I replied that the contact was on the internet and he abruptly ended the call.

Sales call Said it’s from EE, I assume potentially they are as I had my number with them 3 years ago, but not like trusting, sounded like a scam.
My number on contract with o2 taken over by fraudster. O2 cancelled the number but it has been used in attempts to access my credit cards. Also possibly being used as a debit card app. number. Police and Action Fraud are aware.
