SCAM They keep calling to as about insulation, or to follow up on the loft insulation I've just had fitted – I live in a ground floor flat! They say I'm on a renewable energy database but this was on my landline and I never give out that number to anyone.
Automated voice says this is a bank alert, there have been two charges on your card , it then gives the details of the ‘transactions’ one supposedly for £200+ on Amazon, the other a bank transfer for over £1000. Then asked to press one or two depending on whether you have made these payments or not.
SCAM Recorded message if answered, voicemail left if not. The message is a computerised voice, saying a financial fraud has taken place, an arrest warrant will be issued for you, press 1 now to speak to someone etc
Fraud - asking for bank details. Called to say there has been a transaction on debit account and need my details to either reject or accept.

Lady with Asian accent said she was from BT, asked for the email address of the person who she should email about an internet and systems update. I said we didn t use BT and I was suspicious of the call, she put phone down.

SCAM - On answer a strident recorded message tells you that "A criminal tax fraud case has been lodged against you". I didn't bother listening to the full message - I heard enough to know it was a pathetic criminal trying to scare people into handing them either personal data or money. Just had a call from this number saying that I won t be able to renew my T-Mobile contract and to press to speak to them, which I didn t!
I ve registered my.mobile with the Tps service and that doesn t stop this kind of caller. like before, they call you go to answer as businesses change their number of entries and as soon so you say hello they hang up. if they are a fraudulent company surely the telecommunications company should be suspended from trading & fined.
