Had a call from a Castlegate finance from London talking about frozen pensions. Told them I wasn't interested and not to ring me again. Caller gave a sarcastic reply so I hung up. Blocked number then had a further call from the same company this time from Leeds. I asked them again not to ring me and blocked that number. Have had several calls from this number and each time they will not give me details of who they really are - insisting it is a public service backed by the government on how to write off debt! They won t take me off their call list (number registered to German company) and I ve tried using BT caller refuse and call preference and still getting at least 4 calls per week from these maggots!

Calling every day, sometimes more than once. Don't know who they are because unless they give their name my phone (with nuisance blocker) doesn't even ring. So it must be an automated call otherwise they'd stop trying. Love my phones - these nuisance calls are a thing of the past. Was called by this number early in the morning with an automated message regarding an Amazon Prime subscription I had not renewed and was going to be charged £95 because of this oversight. I could press one number to speak to an adviser and another to contest it. I did neither as it was clearly a scam. Interesting that this was a landline - it makes me wonder if they forgot to press 'number withheld'. Would think this could be investigated
