Asian male ... from Virgin Media ...said my broaband was not working properly. I hung up. Worryingly this scammer is purporting to be phoning from close to my own area so the number looks genuine.

These people tried to talk me to giving money because I didn't give my DNA when they sent me a letter - um first off I didn't get any letters and second I'm pretty sure cops don't tell you that you have a warrant on the phone and can "take care of it" if you give them an iTunes card!!! Danger - this number is from a scam Norton 360 protection email. It asks you to call number if you want to cancel the new subscription you have supposedly auto renewed. Would not have worked on me as I have taken Norton 360 as it’s crap as a protection software tool. If I had I would have gone direct to the Norton rather than respond to a high lighted number in an email.
It was an automated message claiming to be from Coinbase. Claiming that I had been charged €1000 on my debit card. Then asked press one to speak to the dispute department.

Daily calls from this number with no one on the other end of the line. I've tried returning the call only to be met with an automated response that the number isn't receiving calls at the moment. We are a business so answering these rogue calls all day is taking time away from us being able to do our job.

Received several calls from this number. Probably a scam.
Called me 6 times in the past 3 weeks. I have missed all the calls as they happened when I am working. They have never left me a message which makes me assume either dodgy or cold calling. After reading other people's comments below I have blocked the number - if it is green peace as some suggest then I have no idea how they have got my number. I have never donated to Greenpeace however I may well have signed petitions but I don't think you usually give out your phone number when you sign a petition

Don't know who called me from this number. I jumped out of bed when the phone rang but I didn't pick up as I didn't recognise the number. It was 7:36 am ffs! Even the sun was still in bed where I live in Greater Manchester and I do't even know where Thanet is, never mind why someone from there would be phoning me at an ungodly hour.
