Automated message - something about "important message" and "finance" or "bank"; that's when I hung up.
Just had a "Bank security call" from this number saying 2 unauthorised transactions had gone through and to press 1. No bank name mentioned and according to Google this number is Thomas Sherriff And Co Agricultural Machinery manufacturers. Unbelievable.

I get repeated calls from this number, which I don't answer. I do not know who the caller is. They always leave a blank voice message of a few seconds with no one speaking. I assume it is a telemarketer given the number of calls, and short messages with no voice.,

I received a call from somebody claiming to be from SSE. He wanted to talk about a new contract. He didn’t specify whether it was gas or electricity. I asked him to send your new prices by email. He seemed upset by this very simple request stating that it was impossible. I told him to call back when he had sent the email. He rang from this number 2 days later and came out with the same nonsense. He said he was Roger. I hung up and complained to SSE.

I could get thousands of pounds in compensation. Same company uses many other numbers and does not honour cease and desist requests nor do they comply with the Data Protection Act and UK-GDPR requests to remove my details from their Database. Emmisions advice team, wanted me to enter contract to reclaim compensation for my diesel BMW. Wanted me to agree contract over the phone and text then said they'd send me details and I'd have 14 days to cancel the contract, when I asked for the contract in writing by email first before agreeing to anything she got sh1tty and hung up.
