I am registered with TPS which is supposed to stop these calls, obviously this number didnt look at the website otherwise they wouldnt have called me. Cant have been important when I missed the call as they left no message on my voicemail, probably trying to sell something and not worth talking to

Fraud: This was a text received stating someone was trying to change recipient details on an HSBC account and they wanted me to confirm details and authenticity. However, I have not had an HSBC account for more than 4 years. Please report the number to your phone carrier and apply the normal block and spam filter to the number. Received two calls from this number just after 4am. No one spoke, call ended after a few seconds with a click. Turned my mobile off. There had been a third attempt. I was astonished to find out where this call came from. To my knowledge, there is no one there that I know.
