I’ve just been called from this number claiming to be my credit card fraud check. It mentions two extremely high transactions, not made by me, then to press 1 to authorise or 2 to talk to customer service. I didn’t, I hung up, checked all my cards. No transaction has been attempted. This is a scam call.

Phoned out blue, saying following up a previous enquiry I’d made once about investments. Said not a sales call but called themselves ?BT Marketing? I’m currently looki at investments. So let the call run. Pleasant polite lady. Asked if they could pass my details onto a tech investment firm, to send me more info. I felt extra info may be useful, so gave permission. However, contact info they had for me was a very old email address. She reassured me they would not pass my details to anyone else. (We’ll see).

He asked me for the invoice number & said that a purchase was made IN MY NAME although my opening remarks were 'I don't have a PayPal account but I received an email requesting payment for a purchase' - when I asked him 'what's my name?' he hung up! SCAM I invested with top-targets.com in May . Got contacted with someone named Dominic Borg (I think it's a fake name ) . That guy was very abusive and rude but I invested anyway.
