Someone called asking for me, saying they re calling from Transcom about "an account". Asked me for my address, which they said was wrong, and kept asking for my previous addresses, saying it will be a previous address and can I confirm my previous addresses. I was called in response to an advert I had on gumtree, he was telling me he was looking to recruit in my area but now having seen the company website I realise it was a scam to get me to advertise with them. not impressed with deception.

said they were from Macmillan cancer research and asked about a survey that i had not completed from the previous day

I was contacted by this number who said they were Carphone Warehouse and I was due an upgrade on my phone. I felt the telemarketer was very friendly but was very pushy. Repeating my details over and over. He then had to phone back to say that my address wasn t on their system and that I needed to phone Orange and update even though I have lived at my address for 34 years and had 3 Orange contracts. Needless to say I told them not to bother.

Now called me 3 times on my mobile. On one occasion it would not let me answer. Today it rang and then rang off before I could answer. If it doesn t cost me money and doesn t get too persistent, I am just going to ignore it.
