SCAM - pretending to be from BT - about my internet speed. BT is not my ISP, but call using a local Derby number told me that BT is the parent company of all Interned and Broadband services, not true! Trying to force me to check my speed when I can check it through my own ISP. Wouldn't take no for an answer, told him I am going to call BBC Scammers and he hung up.

Fraud SCAM Fraud Claimed to be from Vodaphone, said that an attempt to change my account number had been flagged up, called my number to verify with an old address (first flag) Second flag was when I asked if I could have a verification email I received a what amounted to a "yes but hurry up and give me the number" And of course, when I received a recovery/account change text, the first words of said text were DO NOT TELL ANYONE THIS NUMBER, POLICE OR VODAPHONE EMPLOYEES INCLUDED. I believe this to be a banking scam as the automated called said they were from Bank Security - but no bank name given. They told me that a charge for £700 had been made by Amazon (I no longer have an account there) and an international charge of £2,000. I was asked to press a number to speak to security!!!

00918045708684 called 30 May 23 at 10:38hours. Female voice advised that my "visa account had been debited £1xxxx from a gambling ??? in California, press 1 to talk to our ???. or 2 to authorise payment ", hung on for a short while to hear if anything followed..... nothing so hung up.

07401878848 is a mobile phone number at an indian call centre, i traced it back through the network. Someone pretending to be from amazon stating that my details have been used to order some high value items and that to cancel it i would have to do as they instructed. They wanted remote access to my computer/tablet/phone so they could steal my data. The idiots didn't realise that they had phoned an it company. when i informed them of their mistake they hung up.

This NUMBER called me up and when I answered the phone was put down this is the start of a Scam definitely do not ring them back Just BLOCK THE NUMBER .
