Received a call from this number with automated message informing me my Amazon prime was being renewed. It encouraged me to press one to be connected to an account manager to cancel payment. It's a scam.

Apparently I applied for life insurance, even though what I suffer from life insurance can't cover. Never ACTUALLY even googled life insurance, simply talked to my partner as he's reaching his 50s in a few years. But this guy was persistent and insisted I applied, so I asked the name of his business and he couldn't answer. Google didn't even acknowledge the number. DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR DETAILS IF YOU ANSWER BECAUSE IT WONT COME UP AS SPAM CALLER

Autodialler following Amazon scam phishing call from caller with American accent. Just hangs up.

I think this is a scam. Message said I had made an unusual transaction on card, £300 Amazon and £1000 international money transfer. Call did not identify a specific card, so I am assuming this to be a scam. Interesting that it is a Bristol number identifiable to a location.

When asked how she got my number since I've never had dealings with 02084291383 i was told my number was on her database...asked 'what database'...she has a database from all network providers. Scam call pretending to be Virgin Media (broadband internet). Standard scam pattern. Voices/accents from Indian subcontinent but claiming western names ("Daniel", "Robert", etc). Presumably using in-country telephone redirection service so as to appear with 0161 prefix. Claimed "We are getting errors from your internet connection." Wanted me to download Anydesk software so they could take remote control of my computer.

SCAM Someone with an Indian accent called stating they were calling from Microsoft Windows about hackers using my email. They put me through to a technician and they started getting a bit angry with me as I could not understand what they were saying because of their accent. They told me that hackers were using my computer and that I was not to use my computer and to take it down to their offices in Reading!
