Phoned me and played a computer recodred message which claimed to be from my card provider, without telling me who they were. Told me that there had been suspicious transactions on my account and tried to get me to speak to them. I hung up and checked with my bank who told me that nothing of the sort could have happened. This number along with 50 other numbers starting 020 have been giving me nuisance call repeatedly trying to sell me magazines and other things which im not interested in and its gotten to the point that i have to block the numbers every time they call me from a new one because the calls are so persistant and frequent i cant get a break for even q minute if i dont block them all qs i recieve the call from each new number

This is my house telephone number in Oswestry Shropshire. A 90 year old lady in some distress phoned me on this number today to ask why I had been contacting her. She told me she lives in Eastbourne and had been contacted from a number purporting to be from this one asking for finacial information. I explained I had not phoned her but it was probably a phishing scam and suggested she blocked it. I feel I needed to report this scam and this number on her behalf. Scum does not adequately label these people.
