Second time someone spoke with me and verified my name by telling the name correctly and asking that have I met with a road accident and claiming. SCAM - potential Fraud Caller advises of an unusual purchase on your Amazon Prime account - in this instance £1049 - and asks for either confirmation (respond button 1) or query (respond button 2) . Curiously they refer to a card payment with "your usual payment card" and give no confirmation such as last 4 digits. Has all the makings of seeking to get you to part with bank/credit card details. Beware. Number is quoted on dial back with extra leading zero

Man with Indian accent said his name was Ray Hamilton claiming to be calling from HMRC and said I was due nearly £500 in tax rebate. Asked for my card details but didnt give them to him as it is a scam. HMRC wouldnt ring to say you are due a tax rebate let alone ask for your card details on the phone.
