Received a call from this number today, and also had a missed call for the last 3 days. Once connected it has a few seconds of silence, a nice clear sign its unsolicited but I thought I d wait and see who they were. Bloke on the other end told me he is from ICS and they got my number from third party who advised there is an unclaimed category C claim against my household (despite it being a call on my mobile). Odd call from Mike at TPL . Said he was an agent looking to sell landlords. Wouldn t go in to detail; took a while and some prodding to just get that. Wouldn t explain what his company was. Quick to get off the phone after getting an email address (generic one given, of course!).
A female voice, who did not identify herself said that she wanted to speak to the home owner. I told her to ring my landlord. She then rang off. She did not use her name or my name, a typical SCAM attempt which failed as I went off script.
SPAM Claimed to be "The Energy Advisor for my Area" and wanted to speak to household owner. Obviously didn't explain their status, possibly/probably hoping I'd think it was some Official Position and to take them seriously.

I answered this number> Caller asked to speak to homeowner - I said "This is an unsolicited call and I don t accept them - take my name off your list please." caller said "okay, thank you"and put phone down - rings regularly and no-one there when I pick up - hope this is the end- so annoying.
