They rang our landline and asked to speak to the BT broadband account holder. I said I was the broadband user and then they put the phone down on me. So I have blocked the number.

I m receiving calls from Red Star Financial Management on a weekly basis now. Often twice a week. It s the usual robocalls: My phone rings (either my landline of my smartphone), I answer it, a recorded voice comes on to say, "Please wait while an adviser attends your call", and most times some poor young loser introducing him or herself from Red Star Financial Management asks questions about a bank loan I may have taken out in the 17th century. These people are a total nuisance. They are aggressive when they do speak and very rude. This number should be reported to Ofcom and Trading Standards. The more complaints made to the correct authorities the more chance these people will be dealt with.

This number called me three times on 3/2/2016 in the space of half an hour and again today (4/2/2016). I have a watch that notifies me of any calls coming through and the number which is annoying, especially when I cannot access my phone at work. Persistent calls asking for someone not known to me. I have had the same landline number for over 40 years.They just ignore my requests to remove my number. Have now blocked them.

This number rang me today. I was not convinced this marketing call was legit. I simply stated I was not interested. He continued to start to ask personal details e.g are you a home owner? I stated again I was not interested in answering his questions and I then put the phone down. Remember people, You Are In Control Of Your Phone!!!!!! If you re unsure if the call is legit, simple hang up!!!! Do not give out any personal info to a stranger that has phoned you.

Called 4 times yesterday and so far 3 times today. Really annoying me now!! They say they can get you ?3000 in compensation for PPI misspelling. They want to know every personal detail about you. I ve told them not to call again, but that was ignored!

Similar experience to Tuglet ... Caller claimed OH had been getting lots of nuisance calls, I said no, he never picks up the phone unless he knows the number and if our phone does not block them automatically, then I did and put the phone down. Now polite I know but expected the hard sell.

it s a company called Simply Financial and they are one of these Debt assistance companies. I finally got them to stop calling my number.
