Account hacked. stayed on the line to get a recorded American voice thanking me and putting me through. 2nd time today on different numbers. last time I suggested they should cut me off as threatened - surprise - I'm still connected.
It seems that hospitals are in a Catch 22 situation here. While wishing to remind patients of appointments, and thus cut down on missed appointments, they also wish to protect people's data so cannot simply leave a message on an answerphone which may be accessed by people other than the person to whom they are addressing.
