Caller ID identified the call was from Bishops Stortford. The caller said he was from O2 offering a 30% discount on my tariff. I told him I was suspicious of this call, he diverted me to another person who repeated the discount spiel. Asked why I'd be getting a discount, he said many complaints to O2 has led them to offer 'selected customers' a discount; I wouldn't have to give him any personal details, he would send me 2 texts. so I told him to sod off and disconnected the call. SCAM came up as amazon re prime membership. On phoning amazon they confirmed they would never telephone their customers re payments. Message sounded reasonably genuine but its a scam so dont press anything, just hang up

It is an appliance cover company "All Sorted Cover" more than likely somehow got my info from a recent appliance I registered, even though I registered it through D&G for a friend's appliance.
