An Asian gentleman pretending to be from the Telephone preference department. Asked if I was still getting nuisance calls. Then asked if I was still at the same address. Next question was if I still paid my telephone bill by direct debit. When I asked him

I received a call from 02039587974 telling me they are calling from London County Court and that I have had a tax fraud case against me. They asked if I was able to make a £1198.00 payment so prevent my car being seized and sending the police out, whilst I was on the phone they tried to convince me they are calling from London Central count and asked me to google the number and rang me from the same central London county court number to assure me. I rang London court to confirm and told me it was not them

My partner has an ongoing battle with Safari Mobile. When she complained, they produced some detailed-looking reports, but refused to divulge the actual sign-up URL. After several e-mails, they eventually coughed up £50.00 as a 'good will' gesture, but the total owing was over £250.00.
