They give false information regarding their company. They told me they were from interpol and threatened to freeze my accounts

This caller had a strong foreign accent, claimed to be calling from BT and was attempting a conversation. I couldn't understand her.
Seems to be an elderly lady, she is abrupt and won’t give any details on ring back.
Some clown demanding to speak to an IT manager. Gave the name of someone who doesn't even work here ! Turned out he couldn't even phone the correct company. As if any sensible organization would pick up the phone to complete strangers enquiring about their IT systems ! Almost certainly some kind of scam. Number blocked.

I have been telephoned this afternoon – apparently by EE – to tell me that I was getting a 45% discount on my bill for the next year? I was then passed on to a supervisor to confirm my email address – which I did. They then said that they would email me and I would need to change the password to EEdefault19: at this point I told the caller I would hang-up.
Husband answered this call...was young female..she said could save us some money...something to do with washing machine insurance...husband said hold on and you can speak to my wife, passed the phone onto me...she immediately ended the call...

Call center SPAM Said his name was Alex, however he had a very strong Indian accent. He said that he was phoning from British Gas!? It was about boiler cover, house hold cover for both gas and electric. Asked a couple of questions. He said that he was calling from London, when I asked him what the weather was like in India, and it would be set up today! SCAM Telemarketing Sales call - I have found who is running this line and after doing some digging for info I will be reporting the directors to OFCOM and they had better do something about it, i am sick of calls like this.
I was out but hey left an automated message saying suspicious activity on my bank account, listing some of them. Then 'Press 1' to cancel these payments etc etc. Typical scam and definitely might catch some people out. I deleted the message.
