The number rang me but when answered did not respond at all and went quiet , suspicious.

They just called, I picked up the phone and a pre recorded voice said : goodbye. And they hung up
Calls from this number (and those ending with a few digits different) regularly received on office and home line. In all cases caller fails to leave message. If a return call is attempted the message is "number not recognised". A typical automated call centre - probably insulation scam or similar.

Claiming to be from a legal firm (in his thick Indian accent) calling about my son's recent accident (used his name so his insurance company must have kindly sold his details).
