This was a scammer who pretended to be from BT talking about illegal access to your broadband.!! That's rich!! Hacked my bank account and Amazon a/c. It took ages-up to 5 days to clear this mess up and it leaves a sour taste in your mouth. If someone had asked me last night if the death penalty was appropriate for scammers, I would have agreed. Now thinking about it castration without anaesthetic would be better.

Female who claimed her name was Grace Parker used this number to try and scam my 75 year old father in law out of £400 using a scam involving Nationwide building society. luckily the transaction was stopped in time and he didn't end up £400 worse off. This is a scammer's number. They claimed to be from EE accounts department to say my last 2 payments have not been made via debit order and could I press 1 to update my account details. He was very insistent that I do it right now or my account would be closed my phone cut and costly penalties incurred. I hung up as I am not and never have been with EE.

Automated call A number that shows up as a local call on my landline (without prefix)..However, it is followed by the well-known 7 bleeps and a pre-recorded message saying "Thank you for calling". I have received hundreds of calls of this type from numbers all over the country. Why it seems to be impossible to put a stop to the company that is responsible for these nuisance calls is something I simply do not understand.

This number telephoned my mums phone saying about her life insurence policy. My mum passed away a few days ago and I wasn’t aware of a life insurence policy. I explained my mum didn’t have a life insurence policy and she has recently passed away. I was asking for details of the life insurence and he couldn’t answer my question. He apologised and hung up!!! Disgusting! Cold call that triggered me.

This was recorded by my answer phone and the message invites you to press 1 to speak to the technical department. No doubt that would then be some scam which is being deployed.
