A Asian guy called saying I have been awarded a 30% discount for being a loyal customer O2 customer. i Left O2 over a couple of years ago, so I checked the number out online while he was talking and the number was listed as a scam call, so knew it was a scam. He said he was going to pass me to customer service. I then spoke to the next Asian guy who said he would send me a message and to except it (phone malware). Just had a call for this number - an automated message saying it was from HMRC and my name was linked to fraud. I had to press 1 to be connected to an advisor. Failure to do so would mean I would be arrested.....I'll take that risk.

Fraud Comes up looking like a regular mobile number but it is a automated call informing of your national insurance card been identified and used for fraud. Didn't bother listening to the rest of the call as hung up but googled it and it seems its a relatively new scam not fully logged yet.
Since updating to a new contractsim card with 3 this week this number keeps ringing me but silent on the one time I tried to answer the call so have no idea what the purpose is Am also reporting this to 3 to alert them
