Answered the phone, there was a lot of back ground noise like in an office, said hello a couple of times no*one responded, then was cut off.
The caller rang of as soon as I answered. Therefore I suspect some Sort of sales rubbish or scammer. They will not get a chance to mess me about again as I am blocking the number. I hate this method of trying to sell things to the general public. Most of my peer group no longer answer their land line or their mobile if the number is not in their phones contact list.
Rang my business and said they were working with our current energy supplier. I asked which one is that then. He hung up.

Guy called from 03451128876 today 27/06/2018 claiming to be with BT; "just wanting to see if there was a better deal they could offer me." Knew my name. Lot of background noise. I politely interrupted his spiel to advise him that I'd already received similar calls from his colleagues in the past and that I was perfectly happy with my present deal. He equally politely said that was OK and wished me a good day. Possibly a scam (?) but I'm not going to take the conversation far enough to find out.
