These are scammers from India who pretend to be from BT. They use a lot of fake numbers - some will even appear as local to you. If you do answer a call from them, just let them get as far as saying they are from BT then inform them that you're recording the call for the police. They hang up immediately and in most cases don't ring you again.

I feel sorry for people who don't have the personal confidence in themselves to make an honest living, and I think Tom was one of them. Hopefully he has a low sperm count and his line will die out. I selected 2 to save and close. Then received two text messages both timed 11.36 saying my text-to-speech message to this number has been delivered. I had done nothing.
