The call was from a VISA fraud checking unit. However the number was the fax number for a garage in Penkridge, Stafford that closed down some time ago. Clearly scammers have cloned the number.

Text message supposedly from my daughter asking me to call her back. The clue to it being a scam was that it said Hi Mum instead of Dad, lol.

I just received the call from this number seems suspicious as was asking my card details. Claimed he is Saudi Hajj ministry representative and wants to refund some money which will come in 45 working days. He was trying to convince me it is against the complaint I made. I had a call from this number this morning at 10.49 (approx) and a recorded message came which told me that my Visa card had been used by someone for £900. I didn't bother to listen to the whole message as it was obvious to me that it was a scam. Interestingly I waited a few minutes and then called the number back (which I don't usually bother to do) and a very nice lady answered who said that she ran a clinic. It became obvious that she was genuine and that the scammers had used her number.

They say they are calling from PC World and Curry's currently had 8 phone calls from them, sounds like a scam.
A scammer just called me with an automated voice saying that I bought an iphone from Amazon and if I want to put a stop to this purchase to press 1, I pressed 1 and went through to a weirdo breathing on the phone I asked him to remove my number from their list and he said 'no because you are really cute', I said I will report this number to the police and he said he will report my number to the police because 'you called me'. A total weirdo who is not only a scammer but really rude too.

SPAM Consecutive calls, doesn't give you the chance to answer as only rings once, unable to call the number back. Blocked but they will try again using a slight variance of the number, very annoying and intrusive as its every day.
This number seems to be the usual scam saying money has been taken from your bank account and asking you to contact them.
