Looks like a money scam, just hang-up. You receive a recorded phone call, allegedly from Amazon Prime, to ask if you have renewed your subscription for 39.95 as the money will be removed from your bank account. If not you then you are supposed to press 1 to speak to an operator. The operator will then try to get your bank details "to make the refund".

Shows the benefit of this web site. Just been called by this number, but it was a silent call, very alarming with my numbers history. But I am due a delivery from Tesco in the next hour, so although there was no message, I suspect it was a "potentially late" message.

Get constant calls from various numbers asking for "the business owner", unfortunately our number was used by a business about 10 years ago and occasionally appears in searches however that business closed down so they are obviously using old lists, but despite repeated attempts to get them to stop calling us and telling them there is no business at this address and they are ignoring our requests. Always an Asian, usually male, voice.

I gave them my usual reply about having to talk to my IT consultant, and could they give me a number to ring back. (At this point he rang off, as these jokers usually do.) Given collective knowledge about these people I have no hesitation in marking it 'dangerous'
