Web design company calling people who have recently registered a new web site domain.

I have also had the silent and then Goodbye calls from this number. Today I spoke to two of their agents on two seperate calls. The company is called Consumer Care Direct based in Manchester and claim to save money for you, as long as you give them some. After telling the first caller that I would be reporting them to TPS I received another call 3 minutes later from an arrogant agent calling himself Victor. This is UNICEF call and harasses me daily. The calls are to a UK mobile but since I live in France each call costs both me and UNICEF money - far in excess of my original text donation. This is infuriating and immoral.. It should be stopped meanwhile I will NEVER respond to a text appeal again.dobog

I only looked on site out of interest and signed up to see what the cost of a subscription was. Too expensive for me so haven t followed through. i did not request any kind of call back so am not pleased they feel the need to call me.

This call said it was from BT concerning my router but they could hardly speak English so I hung up and blocked the number

Three calls today , first checked my name then hung up , second just hung up and last one said hello then hung up !

This is a scammer - the phone number does not exist!

I am ex directory this company frequenty calls my number and are abusiv, rude, and insolent.

I received a call from this number and when I tried to return the call an automated message said this number cannot be recognised.Seems very odd.

asked for his no. name (damon) last name he did not know what his last name was??? called me from 01999 999 999 asked for mr and gave me mrs name when pushed, total wrong postcode etc after quite a long call (saved someone else from this person) he told me i was a stupid man for wasting his time. (who rang who?) DO NOT DISCUSS PERSONAL DETAILS WITH ANYONE WHO RINGS YOU, YOU RING THEM.

Didn't recognise, so didnt answer. They did not leave any message.

Said he was calling from citizens advice bureau about payments I d made, when I told him to explain himself he hung up. I tried calling the no. Back to have a go at him but constant engaged sound.

Said they were calling from "energy research Scotland" and would organise for Penicuik to come and quote for windows which they would be paying 70% of - can t find this organisation online anywhere so guess it s just a misleading sales tactic for above!
