SCAM Caller claimed to be from EON Next - very poor line, started to claim that they were calling regarding an issue with our post code and wanted meter details. I refused as I'd had another similar call from different number last week - which had all the hallmarks of a scam, so I hung up then and called EON Next back to verify what was going on. They had no record of any calls being made by EON Next to my company either in reference to our post code or our meter numbers. TOTAL SCAM - HANG UP !

It s an unknown number that keeps calling but when you press 5 you get through to someone identifying themselves as being from The Money Team. This time the guy was George. I told him what he was doing was illegal..he just laughed and hung up. Now my question is this... Money Team has been doing this for a long time, and have been reported numerous times. I received an automated call from this number saying tit was the Customs & Revenue service. They were kind enough to inform me that if I didn't press 1 to speak to my case officer then an arrest warrant would be issued for me. I didn't press 1 as I assumed it would be "pay x amount now to settle your account and we will not arrest you." I will update this when they come to arrest me, if I am still alive ha ha.
