This number called me up to ‘follow up’ after a fraud attempt on my Revolut card. I had actually contacted Revolut as I had another scam call the day before (definitely linked to this one) attempting for me to give a code to add my card to their Apple Pay. They were convincing, and said if I don’t give them answers to the security questions then they can’t block the payments. I believe they had my card details already, so if this has happened to you cancel your card for the account they seem to have and get

It s a scam, I have not registered with any gov site, so they are just ringing on the off chance that you have.

I m ashamed to say that I worked for Ben Reynolds for a short time back in 2012 when his company was called Crown Lawyers. Same story as these, he d get us to find people with debts, take a fee from them and then cut off all contact with them. Supposedly we d get a commission for every job taken on, but he d tell us that the person had decided not to go ahead with recovering their debt and so we got nothing. We then found out that they had agreed to pursue the debt and Ben just wanted to avoid paying us

Called from Talk Talk Tech department to say to say a there is problem with our router. He required access to our PC. We are not talk talk customers and these calls are now coming in at a rate of 4 or 5 per day

Rang claiming to be from Microsoft. Claimed there s a virus on my computer, and asked me to do stuff to rectify it. This is a social engineering thing, trying to get you to install malware and viruses. Don t follow their instructions!

Was called by this company re a minor RTA I had a few months ago and was told there was a pot of money waiting for me if I proceeded with a personal injury claim. I told him it had all been dealt with and I was satisfied but he did not want to take no for an answer and persisted in telling me I would be foolish not to make a claim. Everest double glazing marketing number. Maximum price for incompetently installed windows. They didn t give a damn about correcting a front window that was falling apart soon after installation - including the cill put in back-to-front.
