Parts of this was in bold to make it seem urgent. I'm not expecting any delivery from Evri. But I checked with the Evri app anyway. Nothing showing! I suspect this is a scam, taking advantage of the Christmas shopping period.

Think it’s a scammer on FB, has hacked into an account on there and pretending to be a widower living in Bedford. The phone is being used in the Preston area. I have blocked before he tries to extract money from me. He will not send current face photo with today’s date in his hand so I know it is a scammer. The FB profile hacked looks very American not Uk. Well spoken female called back after getting cut off. Said they checked my fuse box ten years ago and wanted to do another free check. Asked me to go to the fuse box. I said it was difficult to reach and it was a consumer unit with circuit breakers. She said in that case no need for a check. Obviously if they'd checked ten years ago they would know what equipment I had. Why I continued to engage with her was we had circuit breakers changed by the makers of the consumer unit as they had found quality issues.

Claimed to be from O2, said they were calling because I was a "Longtime customer", accidentally hung up themselves mid-sentence. Considering I only joined O2 last month, almost certainly a scam.
